HEXX - DJ DEMONIXX
HEXX (Michael Scott Baldenhofer) is a New Orleans–born electronic music producer and 1990s breakbeat DJ whose work has haunted dance floors and fed the underground for decades. Rooted in breakbeat, electro, IDM, and dark rave hybrids—and possessed early by hip-hop and electro—his sound evolved into a cinematic blend of industrial force, gothic atmosphere, and psychedelic tension. Operating through multiple aliases (Liquid Method, DJ Demonixx, Factor E., and The Witch Doctor), HEXX built a reputation for tracks that move bodies while conjuring mood, dread, and momentum. .
A proven force in the breakbeat movement, he released on respected labels including Moonshine Music, Astralwerks, and Industrial Strength Records, and has remained in relentless motion since 1994—touring city to city, running multiple music ventures, crafting remixes, shaping scene narratives, and serving as Music Director for an internet radio station. The grind never stopped; it just learned better rhythm.
In 2025, HEXX is reactivated under the Graves And Graves Agency, which controls his back catalogue and represents him for sync licensing, original film/TV scoring, remix work, and electronic sound design. His music is particularly effective for urban noir, supernatural narratives, club environments, psychological tension, and title sequences. Underground by origin. Cinematic by design.

Experience the Underground Sound with HEXX
At just 18, HEXX released his first record locally—an immediate apparition on the New Orleans underground. Decades later, the spell remains unbroken: nightclubs across the city still summon his debut release, Mental Image – “Halloween.”
In 1992, Michael did his first national release for Felix the Cat Comix, called "I'm Felix, Now Hear This!" under the moniker Factor-E. It is still sold and distributed by Radikal Records / Zazoo.
In 1995, he went rogue—co-founding an independent label with longtime accomplice DJ Voodoo. Funded off-grid, Michael’s debut release,“Everybody Thinks I’m High… and I Am!”, tore through the underground in the U.S. and U.K., .
earning heavy club rotation and chart heat from tastemakers as notorious as The Chemical Brothers
The record moved faster, louder, and further than anyone expected.

GSL1031
Electronica artist GSL clocks in with a seminal music creation, "1031" a Halloween-inspired sonic masterpiece perfect for our agency.
Grapefruit Sound Lab—the electro-rock alter of producer Robert Cotnoir—delivers a meticulously crafted Halloween transmission in the form of 1031, a darkly elegant electronic suite engineered for atmosphere, tension, and ritual timing. Hailed by HORNS Magazine as a “dark dance record” that runs like a single uninterrupted musical experience, 1031 unfolds across six movements—each balancing retro-futurist electro precision with modern cinematic dread. Synth-based electronics, mechanical rhythms, and subtle melodic hooks create a listening experience that feels both nostalgic and unnerving, perfectly suited for visual storytelling.
Operating with a signature 80s/90s electro sensibility, Robert Cotnoir channels vintage hardware aesthetics into a modern scoring discipline, resulting in 1031—a release defined by haunted pacing, disciplined arrangements, and precise textural restraint. The album is exceptionally effective for horror, thriller, supernatural, and noir-adjacent media, whether subtly underscoring dialogue, escalating suspense, or anchoring stylized montage sequences. Every track on 1031 is fully cleared and available for sync licensing, offering creators a rare balance of mood, authenticity, and flexibility.
In addition, Cotnoir is available on a limited basis for select remix projects, bringing deep electro lineage and narrative instinct to the work. Housed within the sonic vault of Graves And Graves Agency, 1031 stands as a cornerstone release—cinematic, ritual-ready, and purpose-built for screen deployment.
Grapefruit Sound Lab aka Robert 'Bobby' Cotnoir is available as remixer- with his trademark 80s/90s electro style. His Halloween-styled album '1031' - all tracks are available for sync license experiences.
